A candidate for a temporary position who has not yet graduated and is working towards a relevant Bachelor's, Specialist's, Technical, Master's or PhD degree from a relevant academic institute. A Student employee can do specific work in the area of his future degree or work as a Generalist in a specific department. The Studentship is limited in time with the intent to hire into a College Graduate/Technical Graduate position as appropriate.

Sys Admin experience from Army (Ofek, Mamram, 8200 or similar) is a plus.

Inside this Business Group

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Desired profile

Knowledge and practical experience are must at least one of following fields:
• Windows Administrator- Microsoft System center – Virtualization
• Database administrator/developer MSSQL/MySQL/Oracle
• Familiarity with Linux
• Availability to work at least 20 hours/week-at least 2 years till graduation

Data Application Hosting Group provides support for systems and software used by design engineers. We provide end to end support for all stages of CPU development. We work in small teams to develop global and local system services. In this job you will be working with data centers and applications and will be responsible for large-scale and complex computing environment to build Intel's next generation of high-end computing. We are looking for a student from engineering faculty with good analytical skills, and ability to learn fast, able to work independently The students in our group are integral part of our development teams, and are assigned with same type of tasks as the regular full-time engineers
