Software Development Engineer (C++)

Job description

The Intel(R) Smart Sound Technology team is helping OEMs/ISVs to deliver exciting Intel(R) Smart Sound Technology-based products that improve user audio experience and change the way people interact with computers!

We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer for Windows or Android. The successful candidate will be on a team that develops and validates a variety of cutting-edge technology using Intel(R) Smart Sound Technology, and integrates modules from a number of sources that include audio stream post and pre-processing, speaker protection/enhancement, and speech recognition.

Responsibilities may include:
- Work closely in an agile team to deliver exciting new capabilities as part of the Intel(R) Smart Sound Technology.
- Integrate and validate new technologies, capabilities and usages for our integrated audio DSP; developing samples, developer tools, utilities and documentation in order to enhance module developer experience.

- Create test automation and infrastructure for components to enable agile development and ensure high quality and performance.

Desired profile

The ideal candidate for this position must exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and strong problem solving skills. The ideal candidate will also have "can-do" attitude and drive results in an exciting and dynamic environment.

Qualifications
- The successful candidate must have a BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- Must have programming skills with C++, programming in Java is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:
- A passion in delivering products to real customers (OEMs and ISVs) - Experience working with Windows, and/or Android (Linux) software development environment
