The group develops Software for Intel's internal computing cloud which is being used by the products design and validation engineers.The software is running on huge amount of machines, handles the entire jobs scheduling in the data centers and it is a critical part in Intel's design chain. The role is a full part in the team's activities which include software design, development, testing and production support.Most of the development is done in Java Object Oriented Programming, some of it is in C++/Python/Perl.

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.
