RF Engineers are responsible for RF topology selection and design, RF system analysis, RF system block characterization and specification. In addition, RF engineers operate radio frequency test equipment and are responsible for the design of RF circuits per specifications, simulations and analysis of RF circuits, understanding of analog circuits, characterization of board of chip layout requirements.

In this position you will be joining a team of system development engineers. Your main task will be post-silicon verification with focus on system related blocks/topics in the field of integrated RF synthesizer/digital PLL.

This team is developing leading edge HW architectures for ASIC RF products for mobile applications, focusing on power efficient RTL implementation of DSP algorithms which heavily interact with its control firmware.

Your responsibilities:

·  Development of high performance measurement test-benches
·  Analogue/mixed-signal and RF measurements
·  Verification and debugging of complex algorithms
·  Documentation of results as well as the analysis of performance trade-offs
·  Planning and concept of the verification test campaigns
·  Interacting closely with other teams such as the system architecture/engineering, software, firmware, post-silicon and pre-silicon validation

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G ( https://www.feei.at/arbeitswelt/kollektivvertraege/kollektivvertrag-2018 )

A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Prior to entering an employment agreement, the employee will be asked to provide all documents and references to verify any service times of prior employment. Based on provided documents the appropriate number of service years will be credited as prior employment . ​

Desired profile

Qualifications

·  MA or Dipl.Ing. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent required
·  Good programming skills e.g. MATLAB, C++, Python
·  Deep knowledge of algorithm modelling, hardware architectures and filtering techniques
·  Deep knowledge of Digital Signal Processing
·  Understand Mixed signal & RF circuits
·  Knowledge RF effects & RF system fundamentals
·  Excellent troubleshooting, analysis and problem solving skills
·  Good team spirit and enjoy working with new challenges
