Job Description
Responsible for ensuring the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits from the component feasibility stage through production ramp. Make significant contributions to design, development and validation of testability circuits. Evaluation, development and debug of complex test methods. Develops and debugs complex software programs to convert design validation vectors and drive complex test equipment. Creates and tests validation and production test hardware solutions. Tests, validates, modifies and redesigns circuits to guarantee component margin to specification. Analyzes and evaluates component specification versus performance to ensure optimal match of component requirements with production equipment capability with specific emphasis on yield analysis and bin split capability. Analyzes early customer returns with emphasis on driving test hole closure activities. Creates and applies concepts for optimizing component production relative to both quality and cost constraints. Autonomously plans and schedules own daily tasks, develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.

Qualifications

You must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with some experience in component/board level test.Additional qualifications include: - A Self-Starter - Ability to work with minimal supervision - Creative and ability to solve technical problems based on personal expertise and leveraging of technical resources - Ability to work in an ambiguous environment - Ability to multitask - Proficiency in Assembly language programming would be an added advantage - Excellent communication and influencing skills, good interpersonal skills and managing stakeholder expectations with Design, System Validation, Class PDE, Q&R and other TD groups in enabling platform validation activities. - Strong hardware and software skills on Intel Architecture chipsets and CPUs - Demonstrated knowledge in PC and processor architecture with specific in-depth knowledge of Intel CPU and IOH architectures - Knowledge of new product introduction, Pre-silicon validation and post-silicon debugs, test hardware and/or fixtures development, test program development, product qualification process and product release to production. Experience with analog/RF testing would be an added advantage. Skill in post silicon debug on High Volume Manufacturing HVM testers for example CMT/HDMT/V93K - Skill in SoC pre-silicon validation including certain amount of frontend verification concept and exposure would be an added advantage - Design for Test DFT concepts and exposure would be an added advantage - Strong program/time management skills as well as a strong background in hands-on debug and validation experience in a lab environment on Intel Architecture platform products chipsets, CPU & boards using DVOM, O-Scopes, Logic Analyzers, protocol analyzers etc. - Experience writing and debugging code in Visual Basic, VB Script, C/C++/C, Linux, SECS/GEM and/or Visual Studio in a .NET environment is desired
