In this role you stay fully engaged with future / upcoming platforms and features strategic outlook, understand customer needs, develop a detailed validation architecture based on risk assessment of new features. As needed you may also influence changes to the upcoming architecture based on your assessment of risks. You will be the go-to person within the team of engineers that focus on execution, to answer and help them with any technical challenges. You may contribute to the design, develop and guide the execution of validation tests for all components of the Windows based Intel Graphics driver e.g. 3D, Media, Display on various Intel client platforms using reference and/or form-factor design systems against product requirements. You may also be influencing proposals at various levels of the organization technical and management and drive technical leadership initiatives within the organization.

The Platform Engineering Group (PEG) is responsible for the design, development, and production of system-on-a-chip (SoC) products that go into Intel's next generation client and mobile platforms. Desired profile

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree Masters Degree Preferred in Computer Science with a minimum 15 yrs experience in Graphics related software development and/or validation of system level software e.g. driver, firmware in a Windows or Linux environment virtualization, hypervisor. Solid C/C++ Programming Skills, with expertise in at least 1 or more scripting languages like Python, Perl. At least 3 years of experience in design and architecture of graphics features. Solid understanding of computer architecture
