Job Description
In this position, Candidate will be responsible for the pre-silicon validation of Display IP of Intel Microprocessors Internal Graphics built in-house. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Familiarizing yourself with design aspects of the Display Architecture, graphics components and usage models Analytically designing and developing/Scripting test scenarios, and using system validation tools execute these tests on emulation/simulation. Debugging issues seen during these validation cycles, communicating the status of work, and working with stakeholders to debug/resolve those issues Responding to customer and/or client requests or events as they occur and developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment Set up work groups/task forces to drive any focused validation tasks/debugs. Review bugs, post-mortem of bug escapes and propose methods to catch bugs early. Understand usage models in driver and bring in scenarios early in emulation to minimize escapes.Mentor and guide junior engineers in writing test cases, executing test plans. Provide direction on debug both in emulation and post-Si. Track the progress of execution, quality/coverage goals.

Qualifications

Technical Master's degree or a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics/Computer Science/Embedded Systems with 3-8 years' experience in areas of Emulation and silicon validationShould have good understanding of Computer architecture, micro controller/microprocessor. Good knowledge in Basic Digital electronics, embedded system, RTOS concepts along with working experience. Should have the Basic understanding of image processing, digital signal processing, Video processing as per latest standards. Should have good understanding on the specifications of Digital Display ports like HDMI, MIPI CSI/DSI, DisplayPort etc.Should have good understanding of programming languages like C, C++, basic knowledge on Unix. Should have good working knowledge on scripting languages like perl, Ruby, python etc. Basic Experience in Developing system validation test plans for any embedded systems. Should have good problem solving skills, Working knowledge in emulators, system level validation debug skills like wave form capturing using emulation environment, Logic analyzers etc. Should have good communication skills. Good understanding on Graphics domain with validation mindset is preferred.
