Our Mission: Create partner technical excellence

To develop and maintain, in our focus partners, a technically competent presales workforce in Intel Security technologies who can correctly identify customers' opportunities, effectively demonstrate salient technical aspects, and offer customers compelling business outcomes across the entire portfolio.

As a Channel Pre-Sales Engineer you will be directly responsible for enabling peer Sales Engineering teams from Intel Security's external channel partner organizations in the sales and technical delivery of security solutions to end-customers.

You will work closely with sales engineering and channel management to closely align partner enablement processes/tools/materials with Intel Security's global channel strategies and have overall responsibility for the global direction, creation, and delivery of technical presales enablement resources to these partner SE teams. As a Channel Pre- Sales Engineer you will have hands-on responsibility for the delivery of training via onsite, live online distance based, and recorded mediums, as well as in architecting solution lab environments at partner sites to include Intel security technologies for them to both learn from and demonstrate to their own customers.

2016 Core Priorities and outcomes
·  Support 2016 Intel Security Partner Accreditation Requirements
·  Manage and promote the process of presales certification (Certified Sales Engineer) FKA as “ACE”
·  Target outcome – 50 certified engineers in top 10 partners in each region = 250 total Certified Sales Engineers
·  Manage and promote the process of postsales certification (Certified Product Specialist) as part of the partner accreditation as Service Delivery Partner AND Platinum Accreditation
·  Target Outcome: By end 2016, ensure that all target Platinum partners (circa 100) have requisite number of Certified Product Specialists
·  Plan, administer and execute technical training schedules in region, and maintain attendance data
·  Engage and work with partner technical management to identify knowledge requirements in partner technical teams and jointly develop plans to execute appropriate training to fill gaps.
·  Work in close collaboration with Channel teams to support their partner development activities (Define metrics, targets and outcomes)
·  Support 2016 Product Roadmap and Detect, Protect and Correct strategy.
·  Develop technical training content and labs for classroom and remote delivery
·  Deliver technical enablement training according to subject matter expertise
·  Facilitate the delivery of technical enablement training by peer presales subject matter experts
·  Deliver ad hoc workshops and events for partner engineers as required
·  Support Partner Self-Capability
·  Mentor and support partner engineers in understanding how to access technical resources in Intel Security and assist in the setup of partner technical labs
·  Support product acquisition and product launch with a goal to quickly and efficiently ramp partner technical resources on new and updated technologies

Key skills and experience:

·  Degree-level qualification preferable, but will take industry experience into account.
·  Excellent communicator, with ability to design technical training content and deliver technical training to partner technical teams.
·  Technically savvy.
·  2 Years experience or equivalent in presales, training or technical support.
·  Fluent in French and English.
·  Readiness for extensive biz travel.

Desirable skills and experience:

·  Knowledge of security technologies.
·  Spanish/ Italian language knowledge.
