Android System Integration team is driving and executing continuous integration (CI) on all Google Android platforms developed by Intel.
This agile continuous integration process requires a strong control of the numerous code modifications (patches) that enter every day the different software layers of the platforms under development. Android System Integration is also at the core of new platform bring-up with tests as early as right after silicon power-on working hand in hand with SoC validation teams to secure SoC debug as early as possible in a platform lifecycle.

To monitor the CI flow and to target both the improvement of the stability of the platform under development, and in parallel seek stability regression in the CI flow, we are looking for a strong log analyst engineer. This engineer will be in charge of gathering test results from multiple automated test activities executing thousands of tests every day (Functional and Stress test campaign) and process them to detect regression on our code line and platforms tested.
The person will also work on early platform SoC versions in close collaboration with SI NPI, techleads and SoC SV teams to fast forward SoC stabilization on Intel mobile platforms.

Profil recherché

A strong background in Android, Linux, embedded software and telephony is a prime requirement to fill in such a position. Several years of debug and triage would be a great plus.
The candidate must demonstrate rigorousness, and strong attention to details. They must be adaptable and able to work in a very unstable and changing environment. They must also show great communication skills to collaborate with multiple people across Intel and handle reporting for SI daily stabilization and regression testing. This is a key activity with a high amount of expectations, especially during platform gates.

8-10 years of relevant experience.
Software and debugging experience appreciated (Android and linux env is a pre-requisit)
Low level SoC and driver debugging a strong plus (kernel, cpu, gpu panics)
