The Mission
The Murex trading & risk management system is part of the backbone of the IT Dealing Room software in ING. It allows for trading, pricing and risk management of Foreign Exchange and Money Market financial products.
Mission: apply and further develop your engineer skills to work on Continuous Delivery and test automation, IT Security, and taking ownership of a secure, stable and performing globally-used Murex system including its interfaces with upstream and downstream systems. 

Your Day-to-Day
•Take responsibility for production changes on the financial trading and risk calculation system called Murex
•Work on strategic projects to improve the Murex platform from the perspective of performance,  continuous delivery (tooling) automation; setting up and supporting interfaces with upstream/downstream IT systems with a focus on data quality
•With 7 global scrum teams you support a global user base (Singapore, Europe, New York) 
•Search for opportunities, interact with demanding stakeholders in ING, develop yourself professionally 
•Adhere to ING IT Risk standards, contribute to continuously improve the security of the system

What you bring to the team
•Education Bachelor and/or Master level, Computer Science, Econometrics, or related.
•Hands-on knowledge of Sybase or Oracle SQL, Linux, scripting (Bash)
•Experience with some of the Continuous Delivery tools such as: Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible
•Interest in financial products and processes
•Solid knowledge of Agile Methodologies
•An excellent spoken and written command of English

Nice to have
•Perl
•Experience with Calypso, Kondor, Murex, Summit, or Sophis, or any back-office/front-office Financial Markets systems
•Experience with capacity and performance management, database tuning
•Experience with Jira / Confluence

Murex: 
•Vendor-developed core application, customized by ING through Agile way of working
•Runs on RedHat Linux, Sybase/Oracle, uses Tomcat webserver
•MQ, Tibco messaging
