Intern - Public Relations

Job description

Zero2one PR Ltd is looking for a star intern who is social media savvy with a passion for interiors to work within our energetic and forward-thinking team for a paid internship.

Duties would involve assisting the team with the running of a busy press office, writing press releases, speaking to journalists and managing client’s press offices. See zero2one.com for details of the full services we offer.

You will split your time between Zero2one and Press Loft, our sister company (same office). That way you will learn how to utilise an international public relations on-line platform - see pressloft.com.

The role starts ASAP and will continue for 3 months with a view to extend. It is a paid internship at the London Living Wage.

Key responsibilities:
1. Writing Press Releases
2. Journalist pitches
3. Managing product content on client’s online press offices
4. Managing media cuttings
5. Generally assisting the PR team
6. Assist our sister company (Press Loft) with trend writing, image management, and searching for potential brands on Instagram.

5. Accurate grammar and spelling

7. Ability to prioritise
8. An interest/knowledge in the PR industry and in the Interior, Design and Lifestyle Industry
9. Knowledge of social media (blogs, Instagram) is advantageous, but not essential

3. Direct insight into all aspects of PR – from the admin to the large scale brand planning

Hours and location
Starting date: ASAP
Monday - Friday 9.30am-5.30pm
Flexi-time also offered between 8am - 6pm
Salary - London Living Wage - £10.20 p/h
Location – London, Southbank - Just behind the Oxo Tower
