IKEA Range & Supply has the responsibility to develop, design, produce and supply IKEA stores with home furnishing solutions available to the many people. Each year IKEA Range & Supply introduce 2,000 new products in the IKEA stores. The total range is almost 10,000 products.

Service Developer, Service Business,
Commercial IKEA of Sweden, Malmö

Commercial is part of IKEA of Sweden (IoS) and work together will all franchisees and Home Furnishing Businesses (HFBs) to create full impactof the total IKEA offer when meeting the customers, regardless of where this meeting takes place: in all current and future sales & communication channels and touch points.

Services Business at IoS, develops and classifies all range related services as well as product- and range communication. Service Business works together with the Home Furnishing Businesses (HFBs) in developing the complete offer with products and services combined. IoS facilitates a global Service Business network forum with all franchisees where learnings, best practices and common development needs and initiatives are shared.

The Assignment
In your new role as Service Developer you will support the development of Service Business by providing market and customer analysis as input to the action plan and by securing that process and product documentation is up to date. Your responsibilities include;
·  In the development of the mid and long term action plan, support the Service Business Manager in the macro analysis and plan the business analysis execution.
·  Secure that the service development process is a part of DPOP and that all aspects of democratic design are incorporated in each service product, striving to exceed customer expectations
·  Develop and continuously update the range handbook with documentation around each service product.
·  Identify performance indicators for Service Business
·  Work in close collaboration with the Market Input function to explore, identify and consolidate business and stakeholder needs by visualising current working methods to get a clear view of future needs related to service business development.
·  Document requirements in a way which creates a good understanding between relevant stakeholders.
·  Elaborate stated requirements, to enable accurately defined business needs, in order to enable initiatives to design and build solutions that will meet future needs.
·  Challenge specified needs in a way that eliminates the risk of realising requests that are not feasible or unusable. In your role as Service Developer you will be a vital part of the Service Business team in Malmö Central and you report to the Service Business Manager, Josefine Figer.
