Kitchen Production Manager (Full-time Salary)

Position Description:
Assist the IKEA Food Service Manager in the execution of the IKEA Food Service Concept in our Restaurant to strengthen IKEA’s position as the best home furnishing store in your local market.

Responsibilities will include:

·  Assist the IFS Manager in meeting or exceeding FY sales goals and related P&L objectives for restaurant (i.e. GM: waste, mix and staff costs & productivity)
·  Execute range and logistical priorities for the restaurant as per the IKEA commercial calendar and business plan
·  Maintain the restaurant production area as per Commercial Review standards.
·  Ensure a safe and positive customer experience that meets ICSS expectations and food safety regulations
·  Impact Voice by assisting in hiring, developing and coaching restaurant production co-workers to ensure they meet the expectations outlined in their Key Tasks
·  Ensure efficient operations of the Restaurant and Staff Cafeteria that enhance visitor/Co-worker experience
·  Execute action plan for the Restaurant to support Business Plan goals, sales/gross profit developments and manage controllable costs
·  Provide visitors with a positive shopping experience by ensuring customer convenience standards are met or exceeded
·  Maintain knowledge of local market including competition, health and sanitation laws
·  Contribute as a member of Food Service Management team and lead your Co-workers
·  Undertake Duty Manager and other storewide managerial responsibilities as required.
·  Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as they occur                                                                                                                  
Key requirements & qualifications for this position:

·  Interest and knowledge of culinary or food service industry
·  Computer literacy
·  Ability to lift 50 lbs. (25 kg)
·  1-2 years IKEA experience including internal training programs or 2-3 years food service supervisory experience
