You support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the administration and operation of the IKEA restaurant and co-worker’s restaurant. You areresponsible for maintaining high standards in the restaurants and ensuring our customers are always in focus.

Your assignment

·  You provide support in the development of the IKEA Food Business by ensuring an efficient and economic operation of the department.
·  You have an overview of the store business plan and IKEA Food action plans and contribute by supporting the Restaurant Manage in implementing the actions.
·  You train and coach the restaurant co-workers, ensuring that service excellence, cash handling procedures, food hygiene and safety/sanitary compliances in accordance to regulatory and operating standards.
·  You look into customers’ concern in our food and services and provide solutions and corrective actions when necessary.
·  You facilitate cost controls, by assisting in materials requisitions and purchases, and prepare daily reports for resource forecast and inventory management.
·  You plan work roster and supervise activities of co-workers to ensure that operation optimize in an efficient manner

Your profile

·  You have 3 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced and high volume restaurant operations.
·  You have strong decision-making and problem solving abilities with strong business acumen.
·  You are service-oriented and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
·  You are a team player with strong leadership and supervisory skills.
·  You have basic computer knowledge in and able to do reports and power point presentation.
·  You are able to perform both AM & PM Shift, including weekends and public holidays.
