The programme
During the year you will train in readiness to take on a specific role within our organization. By focusing on your personal development and leadership as well as gaining in-depth knowledge of IKEA through trainings in the programme, we believe you will get the right preconditions to develop in your assignment and future career at IKEA IT.
Beyond the support from the programme you will have a manager, HR manager and mentor to support you in your development.

About the job – Support Specialist

As a Support Specialist you work with the Knowledge Management process performance. You will be involved in enabling IKEA Business Solutions, Operations and Shared Services to support the end user in the best possible way.

The job entails you to take lead in handling knowledge actions, work proactively and cross-functionally with Knowledge Management process, you focus on creating results within the IT Service Desk. You would be involved in finding gaps and taking actions to close the gaps, wherein you shall be contributing to the development of Knowledge: e.g. areas as self-help, integration with Problem Management and other tools that exist as separate solutions today.

The process of Knowledge Management coordinates how knowledge is applied to support the business by ensuring a common approach as to how we create, consume and manage our service related knowledge within Operations and Shared Services. We use Knowledge Management to create higher efficiency within Operations and Shared Services and for the benefit for all our end-users.

The position is placed in Helsingborg.

You have:
·  a relevant university degree in IT, or equivalent knowledge
·  at least one year's working experience
·  a fluent command of English, spoken and written
Start of employment will be in agreement with recruiting manager.
The programme starts in September 2017.
