ABOUT THE JOB
To complete our Retail logistics team, we are recruiting a Capacity and flow planner for France.
The capacity and flow planner contributes to a great meeting with the customer in all sales channels by ensuring a consistently high availability of our offer, with high quality and at lowest possible total cost.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT To reach this goal the capacity and flow planner needs:

·  To be an expert in assessing store capacity and defining the alignment of the sales space parameters to those capacities in the stores of the market, resulting in optimal replenishment solutions
·  To balance commercial and supply needs and opportunities with store capacity
·  To actively support the stores in maximising the use of their existing store and fulfilment capacity by coaching and supporting with identified improvement potentials
·  Together with the stores and the CDCs, identify and analyse retail capacity constraints and possibilities in order to secure smooth constraint planning, maximise commercial opportunities and support the right distribution set up for new stores
·  To assess the future store capacity needs and flow development based on the commercial strategy and sales ambition of the country
·  To identify solutions for increasing the store capacity and efficiency
·  To link the retail market with the global supply/logistic strategies & the country and distribution network long term strategies to secure an end to end approach in the execution of the logistic processes
·  To provide Retail Logistic Manager with recommended actions and solutions to address the identified capacity & customer fulfilment imbalances. Those actions and solutions being the base for the decision process of the expansion plans
·  Based on current and future capacity assessment, provide the retail logistic manager with recommendations for the store range classification process
·  As an expert in flows and store capacity solutions and utilisation, share knowledge with colleagues within retail and business partner to actively contribute to their competence development and their understanding of the consequences of a lack of capacity
·  To Participate in leading and enabling change

YOUR PROFILE
Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
·  Analytical skills with the ability to identify required business actions
·  Excellent skills in Ikea retail and/or logistics processes, tools and working methods
·  Ability to work at a strategic and tactical level
·  Understanding of the different commercial team roles in Ikea and their interactions
·  Good numerical skills
·  Good understanding of the business plan process
·  Fluent in French and English
·  Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, good skills in the other Microsoft office tools
·  Excellent understanding of the IKEA code of conduct, regulations and legislation relating to health, safety and security
·  Ability to lead and convince through others
·  Ability to synthetize various and detailed information to analyse the situation and recommend the correct actions
·  Ability to meet agreed budget and goals and work on plans over a number of years
·  Ability to manage a high-volume, vibrant and changing retail environment.
·  Ability to translate a tactical plan into operational performance.
·  Ability to make things happen with flexibility, speed and simplicity.
·  Ability to work across functions and organisations and to apply both operational and tactical thinking
·  Business-minded with a clear customer focus.
·  Proven ability to share a vision, inspire and engage others
