Your day to day

Join us as a Kitchen Steward in InterContinental Sydney Double Bay which is located in Sydney's exclusive leafy green Eastern Suburbs. You’ll have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills. Because, for this vital role, the focus is to maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene as per HACCP standard by providing clean operational service equipment to the food and beverage department in compliance with standard operating procedures and Health & Safety and hygiene regulations. You'll be an energetic and dedicated team player who is looking for an opportunity to develop your kitchen skills. Your days will be varied but primarily involve general cleaning duties.

 

What we need from you

This is an exciting time to join the InterContinental's latest luxury hotel! You'll be an organised and highly efficient team member that takes pride in their work. You will have the flexibility to work over a 7 day roster and enjoy being part of a very busy hotel kitchen operation. Ideally you'll have previous experience in a kitchen and stewarding environment and take a real sense of pride in your ability to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen.
