Your day to day
As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for the coordination and preparation of the mise-en-place of the section. You will assist in the preparation of the menu, and ordering of the items required for the implementation of the menu. You will also ensure the freshness and aptness of the items required as per the recipe, as well as the timeliness of the delivery of the items for preparation by coordinating with other departments/sections of the Kitchen. You will monitor the usage and control the turnover of the items in the section, coordinating with other sections to avoid wastage. You will ensure the section allocated to you is always compliant to the HACCP standards, and the output from your section is always timely and compliant to the standards expected. You should be hand-on in training, coaching and always extend your expertise and hands to the daily tasks to the team.
What we need from you
A minimum of 2 years experience working in the kitchen in a Supervisory role. Ability to work in a fast paced-high output Kitchen. You should have knowledge about the HACCP implementation in the Kitchen.
