Job Description

iAdvize is looking for an Engineering Manager (M/F) to grow our team of engineers. We plan to double our teamof engineersin the next 3 years, and we need to do it while ensuring the professional development and welfare of each engineer. Above all, we want to grow our culture and team spirit stronger and more meaningful than ever.

You will be responsible of making a small team of engineers as efficient as possible. You will recruit and onboard new talented engineers, and you will be accountable of the happiness, growth, and performance of each engineer, as well as of the team as a whole. You need to be profoundly interested in technology and in developing people.

Responsibilities

·  Make people grow their expertise and skills through feedbacks, coaching, and training
·  Meet regularly with each engineer and help them set and achieve individual goals
·  Work with the recruiting team to attract, interview, onboard, and retain talented engineers
·  Ensure high team deliveryand team spirit
·  Improve collaboration and engineering practices across individuals and teams
·  Work closely with product managers, VP engineering and product, and other Engineering Managers to ensure a perfect alignment about engineering and product strategy

Qualifications

·  2+ years of experience in managing an engineering team
·  Natural ability to communicate clearly and broadly
·  Experience with Agile(Scrum) methodology
·  High-energy, rigorous, organised, and passionate about solving problems
·  Solid experience as a software engineer

Nice to have

·  Experience within a micro-services ecosystem
·  Experience working in a fast-paced and growing environment
