Our technology teams in the UK work closely with HSBC's global businesses to help design and build digital services that allow our millions of customers around the world, to bank quickly, simply and securely. We also run and manage our IT infrastructure, data centres and core banking systems that power the world's leading international bank.

Our multi-disciplined teams include: DevOps engineers, IT architects, front and back end developers, infrastructure specialists, cyber experts, as well as project and programme managers.

We work in small, agile DevOps teams with colleagues around the world from our offices at the Bluefin Building in Southwark, our global headquarters in Canary Wharf, and multiple other locations around the UK including Sheffield, Leeds, Barnsley and Birmingham.

Following extensive investment across our Technology and Digital domains and with plans for continued expansion throughout 2019 and beyond, we are currently seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to join HSBC Technology.

Brief overview of the business areas

The Technical Product Management job is accountable for enabling the technical development and run-time operation of products and services within a Product Group or a set of development teams. The current role is for the Technical Product Manager for Collections systems.

What you will be doing;

Work with Business Product Owners and DevOps teams and responsible for the delivery, on-going success & continuous improvement Collections product and business services/Operations

Work with the product owner to ensure that work is de-constructed and translated into development activities across teams/PODs

·
Accountable for the management of epics, backlog management and prioritisation across development teams and for conformance to the IT operating model with regards to Agile and Technology Practices

·
Accountable with the Domain Architect for ensuring the Collections product & services are supported by the right architecture, maintaining compliance with regualtory requirements and ensuring solution meets the business demands

·
Responsible for ensuring solutions are aligned with the Collections enterprise platform architecture and Collections Target Operating Model's roadmap, group standards and policies

Work with product owner & team to ensure that the lead time to deploy changes is continuously improving and benchmarks appropriately across other functions within the DevOps team

Qualifications :

What you will bring to the role;

· 
Extensive experience in Collections domain practicing technical skill set

· 
Deep Technical and Functional knowledge in Collections platform like CTA (Collections Tracking and Analysis) and eCafe systems

· 
Sound knowledge in Collections process and strategy, classification in Collections, letter processing, dialer management

· 
Strong understanding in Offer management solutions, customer treatment in Collections and recovery, and processes in achieving fair customer outcomes

· 
Knowledge in banking domain, especially on Retail products like Credit Cards, Loans, Current accounts.

· 
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with different groups of stakeholders and external vendors

These roles will primarily be Birmingham site based but some travel may be required
