We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Tax Analyst (12 months contract) - Global Finance.

Principal Responsibilities

·
Perform tax advisory, implementation, and support work under supervision in relation to OECD Common Reporting Standard (CRS), US FATCA, and US Qualified Intermediaries (QI) matters in accordance with bank's operating models.

Scope of work involves policy, process, governance, risk management, and compliance aspects of CRS, FATCA and QI regimes.

·
Provide internal support to Client Tax Reporting team in relation to record keeping, drafting, project admin, analyses, and compliance reviews.

·
Provide support to the businesses and supporting functions as directed.

·
Protect the reputation of HSBC organization in which it operates.

·
Complete all prescribed mandatory training.

Desired profile



Qualifications :

Requirements

·  Knowledge and commercial experiences of CRS, FATCA and QI.
·  Understanding of CRS, FATCA and QI legislation and policies.
·  Experiences in Three Lines of Defence and process controls.
·  Consulting skills are highly regarded.
·  Undergraduate studies with major in economics, finance or related disciplines.
·  High achiever who enjoys new challenges in academic and commercial worlds.
·  Exhibit common sense, good judgment, and an ability to evaluate competing priorities.
·  Ability to engage, influence, navigate, and drive.
·  Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
