Role Title: Software Engineer

Role Purpose / Description

• Designing and implementing data analytic platform.
• Work closely with technical leads, application developers, QA engineers, infrastructure engineers, business data analysts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify any issues that may arise to delivery risk, formulate preventive actions or corrective measures and timely escalate major project risks & issues to service owner.

Qualifications :

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

• Data science / engineering background.
• Experience on implementing DevOps Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Pipeline.
• Knowledge with DevOps POD implementation and Agile – Scrum methodology discipline.
• Familiar with change management discipline.
• Development experience in Python, Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Java, R.
• Familiar with various Python data analytic toolkit : Panda, NLTK.
• Strong development experience in data analytic and processing systems.
• Provide prioritization, planning, estimating, work assignments, quality assurance and mentoring at any stage of a project.
• Identify and develop the Technical Design documents.
• Develop and document high level Conceptual Data Process designs for review.
• Provide training, guidance, assistance, and knowledge transfer among team members.
• Excellent team player with ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned. Overall with good general sense of various technical knowledge.
• Experience in big data platform, Docker containerization / Kubernetes, natural language processing (NLP) and advanced analytics, such as predictive analytics, big data analytics, data mining and visualization are in favors.
