We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Product Manager - ASP CMB COO OFFSHORE TEAM – CH.

Principal responsibilities

·  Drive effective interaction across organizational boundaries, including sales, client management, marketing, operations, IT, risk stewards to deliver optimized customer experience.
·  Develop and maintain good contact with the external Global Payment Solutions market, e.g. partner organizations, industry associations, customers, competitors, regulators etc. to ensure that our strategy remains relevant and effective.
·  Work closely with channels, including branch, contact center & digital teams to develop holistic channel strategies to induce customer acquisition & account servicing.
·  Execute our product programs and achieve the set product performance objectives.
·  Derive and execute commercialization and revenue initiatives to drive product performance for customer acquisition, retention and maximise utilisation.
·  Liaise with operations in process design related to the assigned products.
·  Prepare and maintain internal procedures/manual  to support business continuity and improve efficiency.
·  Making recommendations to, obtaining input from, and validating with Product Management Senior Management and relevant stakeholders.
·  Manage the delivery of technology investment and ensure return on investment results reconcile to business case.
·  Manage the vendor/ non-bank alliance relationship required to drive the product proposition in Hong Kong.
·  Embrace and instill continuous improvement methodology.
·  Stay abreast of regulatory requirements to ensure all customer communications and initiatives are compliance to FIM and related policies.
·  Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the HSBC brand.
·  Complete other responsibilities, as assigned.

Requirements

Role Context

·  The role holder is required to work independently and with autonomy, sometimes dealing with issues for which there is no clear cut solution, whilst still being able to provide judgement and clear direction.  The role holder will be responsible for making decisions and to ensure the revenue and expenditure targets for his/ her assigned product set are met.
·  The nature of the role requires close working contact with colleagues across different geographies and time zones.

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

·  Progressive experience in global payments product wholesales account services management, operations or technology
·  Strong background in product development, governance, process reengineering or operations with hands-on technology or business transformation experience
·  Demonstrably successful project manager in the cash management industry
·  Solid understanding of digital and/or self-service platforms
·  Familiar with current and future industry trends relating to account proposition or product development
·  Strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to effectively work with multiple business partners to develop and commercialize product propositions
·  Extensive knowledge of GPS journeys, operational processes and procedures;
·  Able to work toward aggressive timelines, managing resource allocations and conflicting priorities
·  Familiar with pricing and billing systems and/or procedures on ac solutions related price items;
·  Experienced in transformation project/programme management and/or business analysis skills
·  Experienced in manage customer communication, customer manuals or announcement.
·  Data analysis and UX knowledge are nice-to-have.
·  Strong communication skills and fluency in Cantonese and English with written skills in Traditional, Simplified Chinese and English.
·  Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.

The jobholder must:

·  Be fully aware of the range of both operational and reputation risk scenarios associated with both the role and the specific deliverables of a given change. The incumbent will act in a manner that takes account of both operational and reputation risk considerations.
·  Ensure the fair treatment of our customers is at the heart of everything we do professionally and as an organization.
·  Escalate all significant issues to Head of wholesale centre of excellence in a timely manner. 
·  Analysis related processes and ensure that FIM controls and procedures are documented accurately.
·  Maintains HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators. 
·  Understands, follows and demonstrates compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the jobholder is involved, specifically Internal Controls and any Compliance policy including, inter alia, the Group Compliance policy and Global Standards. 
·  Works closely with Audit, Regulatory and Financial Crime Compliance and other global Control functions to ensure adherence to internal policy and controls. 

 

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
