Job Title: Sr. Software Engineer
Location: Hyderabad

Purpose of the Job (overall high level summary of the job)

To ensure successful delivery by being a team member of the software project team. The responsibilities include activities described in the software project lifecycle. This would entail areas such as

· Design: Participate in the technical design
· Coding: Analyze and develop code as per specifications.
· Reviews: Participate in review of design/code/test plan and test results
· Testing: Prepare unit test plans, Conduct unit testing and system integration testing.
· Support: Provide post development support

· Design systems that meet or exceed stakeholder expectations for both functional and non-functional requirements.
· Develop, test and implement solutions in line with the requirement specifications.
· Clear and precise communications with the stake holders
· Share and learn from the project experience effectively.

People / Team Management

Co-ordinate with the application / engineering SMEs to understand and resolve application complexities on the solutions proposed.

Operations Delivery Management

· Stick to the project plan in terms of delivery.
· Escalate any issues , road blocks with the line manger for the resolution. Ensure deliverables are self reviewed and reviewed by peer before changes are implemented.
· Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to improve delivery efficiency.

Customers / Stakeholder Management

· Join the project status meetings and provide the project progress updates.
· Communicate openly on any issues that could impact the project delivery.
· Collaborate with other teams supporting development of project interfaces, testing, BAT and implementation teams.

Risk and Compliance Management

Analyze, anticipate and mitigate risk factors and work with the team and stakeholders to minimize risk.
Ensure compliance with all relevant internal instructions (FIMs, GSMs, circulars) and external regulatory requirements, including the management of operational risk and adherence to the Group's standards of ethical behavior.

The jobholder is responsible for managing and mitigating operational risks in their day to day operations. In executing these responsibilities, the Group has adopted risk management and internal control structure referred to as the ‘Three Lines of Defence'. The jobholder should ensure they understand their position within the Three Lines of Defence, and act accordingly in line with operational risk policy, escalating in a timely manner where they are unsure of actions required.

Service Reviews and Reporting

Should support the project team and business through out the life cycle of the project.

Guide the team during low level design phase and ensure proper reviews are conducted to ensure the application level design is in line with the proposed solution.

Experience & Qualification:
· Proven experience working in Mulesoft.
· Experienced in developing RAML design and creating API flows
· Handson on developing APIs.
Knowledge & Skills:
· Understand the requirement.
· Participate in API design discussion
· Create API flows as per the RAML design document
· Develop code and unit testing
· Create and exceute MUint and Functional API Test cases
· Perform Peer Review of API Code, Test Cases, release documents
· Functional and Bussiness acceptance test support
· Production release and implementation support
· Post production support

Desired profile

Qualifications :

A. Secondary School B. University (BA) or (BS) C. Post Graduate (Masters)
