Job description

Principal Accountabilities
— Deploying, automating, maintaining and managing production system (Cloud / non cloud) and non-production systems (Cloud / non cloud), to ensure the availability, performance, scalability and security of the same
— Verifies Build, release and configuration management of production and non-production systems to ensures the deployment meets client's expectations by interacting with infrastructure, change management, QA, DBA and application teams
— Leads all support requests, incidents, issues, tickets and business continuity activities, to ensure flawless and quality delivery of services to end users
— Leads Service Sustainability activities (leading and coordinating software and hardware upgrades)
— Responsible for technical support of production applications and infrastructure
— Leads the development and implementation of contingency plans including reliable backup and restore procedures, also of continuity/disaster recovery risks and mitigation plans.
— Leads the development and implementation of disaster recovery plans with different stakeholders
— Evaluates existing applications , platforms and provides recommendations for improving performance by conducting gap analysis, identifying feasible alternative solutions, and assisting in the scope of modifications
— Suggesting architecture improvements and recommending process improvements.
— Evaluate new technology options and vendor products.

Essential Experience, Skills and Qualifications
— The candidate must have the ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services, including automation experience with configuration management tools.
— The candidate must have the working experience of scripting Skills, for example (PHP, Python, Perl and/or Ruby).
— The candidate must also be highly familiar with Windows system administration.
— The candidate must have the working experience of system monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios).
— The candidate must have the ability to analyse and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues.
— The candidate must also be highly familiar with configuration management tools, for example, Ansible, and Puppet.
— Must be highly knowledgeable of Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, and SVN.
— Nice to have knowledge and hands on experience in banking industry, ideally, investment bank / Capital Markets.
