Designation : Software Engineer.

Location: Hyderabad.

JD:

Mandatory Skills
· Operating System – Linux / Unix
· App / Web Server – Any ETL technology experience
· Programming –SAS BASE, SAS MACROS, SAS SQL Programming, SAS DI
· Design and develop SAS components to extract the data from multiple sources.
· Develop Data flux components for the data standardization
· Design dynamic and reusable SAS components for data validation.
· Build SAS MI reports to support the business team.
· Trouble shoot and fix the issues raised in the project batch.

Highly Preferable Skills
· Scripting – Shell Scripting
· App / Web Server – SAS BI (SAS DI, SAS SMC, SAS EG, SAS GRID)
· Database – Oracle
· Scheduling – Control-M & SAS LSF

Soft Skills & Other Requirements
· Perform root cause analysis of defects, issues and incidents (mandatory)
· Troubleshoot and resolve application issues escalated from countries (mandatory)
· Maintain and monitor production system alerts and provided triage support for system outage (mandatory)
· Process large batches of data on daily and weekly basis (mandatory)
· Perform root cause analysis of defects, issues and incidents (mandatory)
· Support weekend system support activities & upgrades; provide technical support and system knowledge; coordinate and engage with different teams to execute action plan (mandatory)
· Hands-on experience in creating implementation run book (optional) and implementing the run book (mandatory)
· Assist in streamlining processes to reduce and make daily workload more efficient (optional)
· Drive best practices, tools and procedures to enhance operations and increase efficiency (optional)
· Strong written and oral communication (mandatory)
· Open to learn new technology (in case if the resource is not from SAS background)
