Compliance IT KYC/CDD Environment Team support Customer Due Diligence, GBM NGTG, NGTW, GDR, Financial Crime Risk Management, Pandora, Risk Assessment Management and CTU programmes, which are enhanced and consistent global Customer Due Diligence standards to enable HSBC to prevent individuals, entities and affiliates from using its facilities for the purposes of financial crime.

The KYC/CDD Programmes are enterprise-wide initiatives to implement the HSBC Global Anti-Money Laundering Policy and is an integral pillar of the HSBC Anti-Money Laundering Program (“Program” or “AML Program”). The purpose of the KYC/CDD Programme is to outline the internal risk-based CDD procedures to be implemented by HSBC and its financial institution affiliates and to establish governing principles to protect them from being used to launder money, finance terrorism or to evade sanctions requirements.

The core objective of the KYC/CDD Programme is to implement an enhanced global Customer Due Diligence standard, in line with the HSBC Global AML Policy for all customers to enable HSBC to prevent individuals and entities from using its facilities for the purposes of financial crime.

Key duties include:
·
Build and configure development, test and production environments for KYC/ CDD systems

· Deploy code releases into development, test and production environments
·
Provide support for development, test and production environments for CDD systems. This will involve level one investigations, incident management / resolution and liaison with supporting teams as required (e.g. ITO, development teams).

·
Automation of routine tasks where possible (e.g. via shell scripts)

·
Deliver a Continuous Integrated pipeline, liaising between developers, test and product teams

·
Continue to improve DevOps tooling and practices for KYC/CDD areas

Desired profile



Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:


· 
Ideally a full stack developer by background, you will be working on the deployment of vendor agnostic federated infrastructure. Must have deep expertise in practice and use of Jenkins

· 
Demonstrate a current knowledge of latest DevOps tooling and practices.

· 
Must have Scripting / Dev experience of Python and Bash

· 
Strong Amazon Web Services knowledge and understanding, alternatively Google Cloud

· 
Experience of development in a Java/JEE environment with strong SQL

· 
Working experience with WebSphere Application Server, WebLogic or Tomcat

· 
Experience of containerisation, ideally using Docker / Kubernetes.

· 
Experience of deploying to a public cloud, ideally using AWS.

· 
Experience of automated software configuration, ideally using Ansible.

· 
Experience of continuous integration tooling, ideally using Jenkins

· 
Strong Linux system administration skills, predominantly RHEL. UNIX / Shell scripting.

· 
Have AWS infrastructure experience, Implement agreed architectural improvements, Fix production issues.

· 
Control-M, WebSphere, Oracle knowledge, WebLogic, MQ and Java is a plus

· 
A university graduate with degree in computer science or a related discipline

· 
Strong communication skills and documentation skills, both technical and non-technical

·  Strong problem resolving and consulting skills
· 
Enthusiastic and self-motivated personality with excellent time management skills and a strong sense of initiative

· 
Ability to work independently and effectively in a high-pressure environment against multiple deadlines

The base location for this role is Sheffield, we can also consider applicants to be based in Leeds or Birmingham. There will be some out of hours work required for this role.
