Role Title: Associated Software Engineer Manager
Business: Global Private Banking IT

Role Purpose / Description

Plan, direct, control and successfully execute on the GPB Mobile App project, adhering to HSBC quality standards and software engineering practices. This would involve:
- Project Management: Project planning, Project size, effort and schedule estimation, Project monitoring, Software configuration management, Project status reporting and Risk Management.
- Project Lifecycle: Project initiation, Requirements management, Design, Project closure
- Quality management
- People Management
- Costs Management / Productivity

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in people / team management
• Experience of managing project team and motivate the people
• Familiar with Agile Scrum methodology, experience on Scrum Master role
• Ability to manage a team over 10 team members and motivate people
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, multi-roles and time management skills
• Flexibility on multi-timezones and taking responsibility for all areas of work as required
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in Designing/Development highly scalable, maintainable applications
• Ability to deliver re-usable features for the projects with no negative impact to the production environment
• Excellent knowledge of full project management life cycle including the management of risks and issues
• Strong risk awareness including identification, mitigation and control
• Experience of working in a high pressure environment and dealing with global stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Experience of managing ad-hoc requests and changes
• Experience on Mobile related project is a plus
