Global Risk is a thriving and expert risk management function supporting HSBC globally with all aspects of risk management. The team actively manages a varied and dynamic range of risk types, including security, fraud, information security, contingency, geopolitical, operational, credit, pension, insurance, financial crime and regulatory compliance, market and reputation risks. All parts of the Global Risk team use their skills, insight and integrity to handle established threats and those they see emerging, acting to protect and enable HSBC to deliver sustainable growth.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Traded Risk Control Manager .

Principal responsibilities
· Act as an Assistant Change Manager in the Traded Risk Change the Bank Team for rolling out global strategic traded risk system infrastructure to the Asia Pacific region.
· Support the implementation of global and regional regulatory models and participate in the front office driven systems projects impacting Traded Risk. Deliver risk system changes in a timely and successful manner.
· Analyze and document the Traded Risk changes for Traded Risk Control and Management to ensure the robustness of Global Markets risk exposure calculation and reporting on an ongoing basis.
· Participate in the various project stages including project initiation, business requirement gathering, user acceptance testing, users training and preparation of procedure manuals and implementation.
· Liaise with global, regional and local project stakeholders on issues resolution arising in projects.

Desired profile

Requirements
·  A degree in Risk Management, Finance or a related field. Financial Risk Management or Chartered Financial Analyst designation is a plus.
·  Proven relevant working experience in Global Markets environment, with relevant exposure in the risk industry an advantage.
·  Broad knowledge of Global Markets products and their implications in terms of counterparty credit and market risk.
·  Ability to develop cohesive working relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
·  Well organized, self motivated and ability to work independently and meet tight timelines
·  Strong interpersonal skill and excellent communication skill
