We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant RBWM Risk & Control Manager.

Principal responsibilities

· Support the Operational Risk Management Framework related initiatives and ensure deliverables are in line with Group Regional Strategy and timeline
· Coordinate the implementation of internal control standards and regulatory requirements on compliance
· Be connected and ensure alignment with stakeholders to deliver business strategies and objectives
· Ensure Information Technology or Compliance costs are deployed effectively
· Proactively contribute to the team in delivering business strategies and objectives
· To assist the delivery of continuous monitoring activities including testing, QA and Thematic Reviews
· To conduct risk based assurance review such as sustainability assessment Participate in Ad-hoc Projects
· Perform risk and control assessment, monitor issues and operational risk internal events
· Identify opportunities for and implement cost reduction initiatives

Desired profile



Qualifications :

Requirements

·  University graduate
·  Prior management experience, ideally from a banking, financial institution
·  Proficient project management capabilities
·  Experienced in liaising with internal, external business partners and regulatory bodies
·  Good command of written and spoken English as well as Cantonese Banking experience would also be an advantage
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
