Headquartered in Shanghai, HSBC Life Insurance Company Limited was established in August 2009. It is a 50-50 joint venture between HSBC Insurance (Asia) Limited and The National Trust Ltd. With a registered capital of RMB1025 million, the Company serves affluent and high-net-worth customers in Shanghai and Beijing through HSBC and Hang Seng bank's distribution channels. The Company offers comprehensive insurance services covering protection, retirement, children's education, legacy planning and wealth growth to individuals and families.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Assistant Manager, Credit Analysis, HSBC Life Insurance.

In this role, you will:

- To maintain an internal credit analysis system and procedure and to conduct credit analysis upon credit risky assets and counterparties.

- To maintain the internal credit rating procedures and manuals for credit risky assets and counterparties according to group and local regulatory requirements; To develop the reports as per requirements.

- Continuously and regularly monitor credit conditions of the holding bonds or credit risky assets and issue the regular credit downgrade reports.

- Collaborate with fix income investment team and support with the credit analysis results;

- Keep a rapport relationship with the internal and external stakeholders;

- Maintain credit analysis system, procedures and manuals and ensure strict implementation;

- Maintenance of the credit database or other record keeping;

- Take the role of the coordinator or other tasks in the company level and handle necessary administration work to make function operational efficient.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

- Master degree in Investment, Finance or related discipline preferred

- Pass the practioner exams for securities industry and fund managemnt industry

- Five years relevant working experience and two years of credit analysis work experience

- Excellent master of writing skill in Chinese and English; Fluent in oral English
