We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Manager And Actuary .

Principal responsibilities

· Provide support in delivering the financial and business analyses for managing the product portfolio of the company, which involves all line of life products including universal life, participating products, non participating products and Investment Linked Assurance Schemes products.
· Assist in building actuarial model in accordance with the Group standards.
· Provide rate tables for Life Admin System.
· Prepare user requirement of sales illustration.
· Assist in business profitability analysis, and in depth product review and analysis
· Support Business As Usual tasks on life supports, Guidance Note 16 reprojection and management information reports.
· Be responsible for production of special quotations and responses to customer enquiries.
· Be responsible for the development and maintenance of the illustration tools for special quotations and bespoke policy benefit illustrations.
· Support regional Centre of Excellence business, including local and regional product and actuarial best practices in relation to Universal Life products management.
· Work closely with business units distributing products to ensure product management is aligned and professionally executed.
· Share knowledge and provide guidance to the contractors in the Product Management team
· Motivate and guide the self development of junior staffs

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Requirements

·  University Graduate in Mathematics or Actuarial Studies
·  Solid working experience in actuarial field within life insurance or reinsurance settings, which includes pricing, valuation, reporting, and asset liability management
·  Solid experience in life insurance industry in Hong Kong is preferred
·  Possess strong technical and programming skills
·  Be a self motivated and proactive self starter with the ability and attributes to act and perform with minimal direction or instruction
·  Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
