Global Asset Management, the investment management business of the HSBC Group, serves HSBC's worldwide customer base of retail and private clients, intermediaries, corporates and institutions invested in both segregated accounts and pooled funds. Global Asset Management fulfills its purpose of connecting HSBC's clients with investment opportunities around the world through an international network of offices in approximately 30 countries, delivering global capabilities with local market insight.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as AD, Private Bank Sales Hong Kong .

Principal responsibilities
· The role is an addition to the existing Asia Private Bank distribution team located in Hong Kong and Singapore
· The role will be focused on enhancing coverage and accelerating growth for the Private Banks represented in Hong Kong
· Maintain and grow relationship with HSBC Private Bank in Asia with a focus on Hong Kong
· Grow relationship with External Private Banks in Asia with a focus on Hong Kong
· Ensure that requirements for future products and capabilities is being documented and forms part of Asian product pipeline
· Accountable for securing full connectivity with other HSBC offices in the region to ensure synergy and transparency, matching the structure of most regional and global private banks
· Accountable for identifying and understanding product gaps, and ensure they form part of Asian and Global product pipeline
· Facilitate business by developing & implementing business plans initially for the Private Bank segment in general and then for each player in the market
· Share key information to enable Asset Management Global to enhance its corporate knowledge and improve competitiveness across product, service & marketing
· Increase client satisfaction with effective implementation, open dialogue and can do attitude

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Requirements ​
·  Solid Business development experience focused on growing Private Bank business
·  Experience working with fund selection community within Private Banks
·  Existing network to key stakeholders within the Private Banks in Hong Kong
·  Deep knowledge of Asset Management capabilities and requirements from Asian Distributors
·  Initiative and being a self-starter with a pragmatic, can do approach
·  Confidence in building multi-level relationships leading to a strong network
·  Ability to foster strong relationships across the Private Bank segment with diverse structure and requirements.
·  Ability to translate strategy into an operational plan with achievable targets given resources
·  Understand the corporate structure and reporting lines as well as the informal centers of influence
·  Ability to harness previous experience and market knowledge to reinvigorate activity and achieve best of class approach.
·  Apply business acumen in planning and execution, seeking guidance as required.
·  Support the importance of Asset Management Global cross departmental collaboration to deliver a market competitive offer.
