In a Strategy Sales and Planning (SSP) role at HPE, you’ll play a part in building the future—one big idea at a time. The global Strategy and Business Planning team are an exciting and dynamic organization responsible for working with complex data and business analyses to develop business plans and make recommendations. You’ll help to define the metrics required to measure business performance, compare actual data to forecasted values and develop a process for identifying and addressing performance gaps. In this role, you will work closely with business leaders to develop business plans based on historical and forecasted data and reports. You’ll develop go-forward business plan recommendations based on potential risks and returns using cutting-edge analytical tools, models and methods for making key business decisions. You’ll also contribute to priority projects with complex analyses and assist in developing recommendations. How you’ll make your mark:

• You will work independently to construct complex statistical and financial models to forecast business performance

• Manage complex, time-sensitive market research projects and synthesize data and information to identify relevant trends and next steps

• You will work with cross-functional teams across the entire span of business planning

• You’ll identify and summarize relevant trends from market and industry data

• Ensure that business activities are aligned with stated plans among different stakeholders

About you:

• You have knowledge of research methodology and the ability to manage complex data requests.

• You have excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills.

• You have the ability to learn and draw on new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches to business analysis.

• You have extensive knowledge of Excel, Access, statistical analysis, and financial modelling.

• You have strong relationship management skills.

• You have a university degree that is related to strategy, planning, operations or finance
