We currently have an excellent opportunity in Canberra for a Partner Business Manager.  The Partner Business Manager role is pivotal to our sales strategy.   You will own the business relationship & be the focal point for our partners within ACT.   You will be accountable for working directly with Partners to create, leverage & implement innovative sales programs resulting in achieving sales & revenue targets associated with the Hybrid IT & Pointnext portfolios.  You will be a highly-motivated & entrepreneurial salesprofessional keento grow & cultivate our partners to their fullpotential.    

Key Responsibilities:

·  Educate partner’s sales force &, when needed, partner’s end-user customer on HPE’s portfolio
·  Collaborate with other key HPE teams to craft & execute cohesive partner plans & programs
·  Engage at all levels within the partner from the executive to the sales representatives
·  Actively co-sell with partners & support alignment of partner’s offerings with HPE’s
·  Drive incremental opportunity generation for HPE through mining partners’ existing customer base & identifying new opportunities with partner
·  Financial accountability for the partner performance, produce weekly forecasts by partner & identify gap plans to ensure growth across all partners
·  Map partners own service offerings with the HPE portfolio & provide guidance on where we can work together in partnership
·  Own business relationships with partners, & facilitate executive engagement of HPE & partner business decision makers
·  Collaboratively develop partner account plans to exceed sales targets
·  Act as an advocate for HPE’s portfolio of products, services, & solutions to ensure HPE priorities over the competition & ensure coordinated communication & HPE interaction with partners
·  Drive partner transformation & business planning to IT-as-a-service & converged infrastructure selling partners
·  Align partners to HPE’s business goals & metrics using joint account business plan methodology
·  Provide the escalation point for partners to HPE & ensure troubleshooting & resolution of all partner issues

It is expected that you will have the following experience:

·  Ideally 3-6 years sales experience
·  Previous IT channel sales experience with IT partners
·  Knowledge & experience selling enterprise products & solutions highly regarded
·  Proven history of achieving & overachieving sales targets
·  Strong ability to build & maintain successful relationships with our partners
·  Previous experience in executing plans & being a single point of contact for your customers
·  Exceptional communication, negotiation & presentation skills
·  Possess various personal traits such as:- high energy, entrepreneurial, self-motivated, results-driven, dependable, excellent follow through skills, effective in a fast-paced environment
