GSD Supply Chain AMS is in charge of delivering spare parts in support of HPE customers and channel partners throughout AMS. Ensuring that we deliver the right part, at the right place, at the right time, and at the right cost is our mission. Meeting HPE contractual engagements (warranty or service contract) or direct customer expectations is our day to day business. As a Regional Analyst, you will be responsible for performing analysis and investigations into our operational metrics to drive continuous improvement in all business areas, including defective inventory utilization, purchase price variance, and excess inventory rebalancing. You will support the quarterly OEM% derivation process to ensure accurate defective inventory valuation and warranty billing to the BU’s. All this will be done to maintain business performance which meets or exceeds target expectations across tower portfolios.

Responsibilities:

·  Develop and provide support for business tools used by the team
·  Provide root cause analysis and drive action for business/process performance improvement to meet the goals & objectives of the team
·  Generate and provide various analytical reports to peers & management regarding decision making and direction setting for optimal operational performance
·  Provide scheduled & ad-hoc reporting to external partners addressing the following business areas:
·  OEM Warranty
·  Financial
·  Inventory Operations
·  Repair Operations
·  Define target stock levels at country hubs
·  Collaborate with other functional groups, including the Business Unit, to enhance current business processes
·  Keydeliverables/accountabilities:
·  Business tools are strategic, current, and well socialized throughout the team
·  External reporting meets agreed-to schedule

Education and Experience Required

·  First level university degree or equivalent experience; may have advanced university degree.
·  Typically 2-4 years of experience in a supply chain function

Knowledge and Skills

·  Strong understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make deliver)
·  Strong analytical and data modeling skills
·  Strong communication and influencing skills; mastery in English and local language
·  Proven Relationship Management
·  Project Management skills
·  Demonstrated knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
·  Ability to work on a team and collaborate across business units.
