Your Role:

Designs, develops applications, systems, automations and methodologies  to support  advanced analytic models that transform structured and unstructured data into meaningful and actionable information insights that drive decision making. 
Implement visualization,  automation techniques to translate analytic insights into scalable and self-service systems and allow embedding analytics into business processes and applications.  .  

Responsibilities:

• Formulates and defines application objectives and technical requirements based on user needs, an understanding of business processes, industry requirements, and advanced analytic models.

• Conceptualizes, builds, develops and enhances applications. Selects the relevant methodology for the use case, available structured and unstructured data, cost and timing constraints to solve the business issue and deliver usable programs, scripts and applications.

• Embeds programs in an enhanced business process of operational system in collaboration with IT,  big data analytics platform managers,  Application Developers.

• As a developer integrated into CRM analytics, applies best practices, application and solution design to analytics processes and contributes to the development of improved best practices.

• Summarizes complex ideas into actionable solutions to simplify user experience.  

Education and Experience Required:

 Master´s Degree in computer science and at least 2-3 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Advanced skills in big data application development methodologies including but not limited to Python/ C/ SQL/ Java / Scala /Hadoop/ SPARK/ Unix shell scripting.

• Ability to translate business requirements into application objectives to achieve measurable business outcomes.

• Advanced understanding data integrations, data mining and analytics deployment architectures.

• Advanced machine learning, data integration, and mathematical modeling skills and ETL tools (eg. Informatica, Talend, Rapidminer) are a plus.

• Advanced communication and presentation skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills and effectiveness in working across geographical boundaries.

• Advanced knowledge of data visualization techniques and software tools (eg. Spotfire, SAS, R, Qlikview, Tableau, HTML5, D3).
