As a Junior Cloud Software Engineer within HPE Storage you will join an industry-leading organization in the delivery of Hybrid Storage solutions on premises and in the Cloud. You will have the opportunity to work with a global product team for software design, development, release management, and support during the full product lifecycle. Aligning with HPE’s technical career path, HPE offers you both vertical and horizontal growth in engineering and related product delivery roles.

How will you make your mark:

· 
You will code and program enhancements, updates, and changes for portions and subsystems of systems software, including operating systems, compliers, networking, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools

· 
You will execute established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code; identifies, logs, and debugs assigned issues

· 
You will develop understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced development partners on software systems design and development

· 
You will participate as a member of project team of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for low to moderately- complex products

If you are…

· 
Good at partnering, innovating, and making things happen? Good start, you are aligned to our core values!

Holding a degree in IT or Engineering (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

· 
Experienced in software systems design tools and languages

· 
A person with good analytical and problem solving skills

· 
Able to understand of design for software systems running on multiple platform types, plus basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures
