Job description

We’re looking for a candidate for our junior systems engineer position (a presales role) in the HPE Aruba business unit, a leading global networking vendor, under Hewlett Packard Enterprise, a multinational IT corporation with the local headquarters in Prague, Czech Republic. We expect a candidate with at least 1 year remaining before their college graduation, with a technical profile focused on information and communication technology, namely data networking, routing, WiFi, etc. The presales role in general requires the capability to assume responsibility for the technical aspect of business opportunities, contributing to the business strategy for key accounts, and finding new and innovating ways of succeeding with our customers. Another part of the role is the evangelization and development of partner and distribution landscape from the technical value perspective. The junior person will be trained both technically and professionally to phase into the above tasks. Among the important personality features of a good candidate are teamwork, enthusiasm and creativity which are key for helping make this innovative part of the HPE portfolio succeed.

Job responsibilities

·  On-the-job assistance to the current presales resources with the below tasks; later assuming parts of those tasks on one’s own. The tasks include but are not limited to:
·  Technical support of salespeople in business opportunities in the form of solution design, value proposition presentation, preparation and conducting of Proof-of-Concepts, etc.;
·  Participation in RFI/RFP responses;
·  Active prospecting of the customer’s technological and technical environment, understanding their needs, and building long-term relationship with key technical contacts in important accounts;
·  Development of the technical capabilities in the channel (distribution and partner landscape);
·  Maintaining an active knowledge of the HPE Aruba product and solutions portfolio as well as our major competitors’;

Job requirements

·  Full-time University student
·  Technical proficiency in the networking area; hands-on experience welcome;
·  Ambition to pursue a presales career;
·  High communication and presentation capabilities;
·  Proficiency in English (both written and spoken form);
·  Driver’s license;
·  Team spirit, positive approach and passion.
