Sales Development Representative

Sales Development Representatives(SDRs) are the hunters of new opportunities for the company. The SDRs fill the pipeline for the Inside/Field Sales Reps with leads from marketing and Nimble Storage install based leads. The SDR feedsmeetings/opportunitiesto the top of the sales funnel. Once a meeting has been scheduled, it will route to the Technical Sales Representative (TSR) or Field Account Executive (AE).

The Sales Development Representative’s role is to increase sales through cold/warm calling prospects to create continuous opportunity for HPE by educating potential customers on the HPE Storage portfolio. SDRs manage and generate meetings from inbound and outbound marketing generated leads.

Key responsibilities:

·  Dial on marketing leads 
·  Manage the unattended leads for small to medium size businesses (SMB)
·  Fill the Technical Sales Representatives (TSRs) / Account Executives (AEs) calendar with net new companies
·  Social Selling e.g. LinkedIn
·  Salesforce Hygiene -track all lead activity, leads/opportunities, and manage reports using Salesforce.com
·  Understand HPE Portfolio

Day to Day Activities:

·  Introduce the HPE Storage portfolio to prospective customers, build a book of business and be the liaison between important disciplines within the organization: marketing, account managers and system engineers
·  Respond to inbound calls, following up with leads generated by various marketing programs
·  Daily conversations with managers on call techniques
·  Weekly goal meetings around metrics
·  Weekly calls with field to discuss strategy and current opportunities in pipeline
·  High volume outbound calls to potential leads

Requirements:

·  Must have a Bachelor’s Degree between June 2017 to July 2018
·  Proficient with LinkedIn
·  Strong follow-up skills, attention to detail and organizational skills
·  Ability to thrive under pressure, enjoy the challenge of tight deadlines and managing a variety of duties
·  Patient and persistent
·  Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to convey them over the phone
·  Ability to conceptualize and articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
·  Ability to build and manage your own book of business
·  Comfortable with performing high volume outbound calls to potential leads
