Electrical Hardware Engineer

Job Description:

·  Responsible for HW engineering solutions for Server Networking Connectivity products Cables and Transceivers.
·  Adopt HW/EE engineering principles in accordance with development technology practices and guidelines
·  Uses empirical analysis, modeling and testing methodologies to validate HW designs and Thermal/emissions management
·  Collaborates and communicates with management, internal teams, and outsourced development partners regarding product status, project progress, and issues resolution
·  Conducts feasibility studies, design margin and validation analyses on new and sustaining products. 
·  Evaluates reliability of materials, designs, and techniques used in production.

Key Qualifications:

·  Minimum 5 years experience in electrical engineering
·  Minimum 2 years networking product experience following structured design process. 
·  Electrical Engineering background with High Speed board design or debugging experience
·  Able to use electrical design tools and software packages.
·  Able to use empirical analysis, modeling and testing methodologies to validate hardware components and thermal/emissions management
·  Able to perform HW validations such as 4-corners test with the end to end networking connectivity components setup
·  Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills.
·  Excellent communication skills including the ability to clearly express technical concepts in both verbal and written forms.
·  Good English speaking and writing skills
