Logistic Solution & Operations (LS&O) is part of GSD SC ЕМЕА and is accountable for all logistics, CSR delivery and Order management activities.

Job scope/summary:

The EMEA Transportation Network Analyst is responsible for analyzing the logistic network, international and domestic, check if it’s meaningful in term of flows, efficiency and costs, check what could be changed, improved with the actual carrier or other carriers, and make proposals. We're looking for a motivated and driven individual to join the team for a 6 months internship.

Job specifics/responsibilities:

The responsibilities in that position include:

Investigate and manage network/service change Transportation Process re-engineering. Initiate  cost/service changes (initiative) based on analyzes. Ensure the Vendor Account Managers are involved in case of contracts modifications .Coordinate and communicate within the logistic team about his/her projects. Ensure future reliable commitments when transferred to operations and domain specialists. Drive , design,  deliver , and deploy initiatives, projects and programs. Ensure smooth communication between Supply Chain stakeholders /forwarders/Procurement , planning ,engineering teams.

Metrics:

·  Follow-up meetings with other departments (materials, finance) or other organizations
·  Action plan/log for his projects are documented
·  Projects are documented (Planning, description, status, closure, steering committees, etc…)
·  Ensure awareness about business changes (communication is proactive)
·  New services put in place in timely manner and at costs
·  Initiatives/project/program planning in place
·  Initiatives/project/program completed on time
·  Master action plan updated on a monthly basis

·  Vendor Account Managers,
·  Logistic experts,

External:

·  3PL vendors (DHL, UPS, TNT, Panalpina etc…)
·  Engineering,
·  Account Managers,
·  Operations and country Managers…

Knowledge and Skills Required: 

·  Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of key supply chain domains
·  Program /project /process management skills
·  Strong relationship building skills
·  Strong communication skills
·  Managing by influence skills
·  Solution oriented

Others:

·  Fluent English is mandatory
·  xls, ppt & word knowledge is mandatory
