Summary:

The HPE Aruba EMEA Sales Operations Analyst will become the face of EMEA Sales Ops, developing and maintaining strong business relationships across multiple Business Units in HPE and driving a culture of information sharing and best practice across various facets of the HPE Aruba business. Attitude is crucial in this key Sales Ops role; the Ops Analyst will become a reliable business partner for both Sales and Administrative arms of the BU, liaising across teams / functions and taking action to resolve any impediments to Operational excellence.

The Sales Ops Analyst will also have a strong working relationship with the Ops Manager, providing support and back-up as and when needed.

The remit of the Sales Analyst will be extremely broad, requiring the analyst to be comfortable working on a wide variety of topics which may frequently change.

The Analyst will form part of the EMEA Sales Operations Team and will report to the locally based Operations Management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

General:

·  Act as a business partner for EMEA Sales Geographies, support the EMEA Leadership team & HQ,
·  Become a “go to” resource for HPE Aruba EMEA leadership teams for ad-hoc analysis, support and projects to drive continued operational excellence within EMEA,
·  Provide front-line operations support to the Field Sales teams and Field Sales Management,
·  Responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of Sales Process & adherence to Sales Operations best practice models & in line with Sales strategy,
·  Develop continuous improvement initiatives using lean/six sigma methodologies while engendering a team based approach,
·  Provide ad-hoc pricing support as required by the business.

Systems:

·  Support the sales team with operational needs relating to eCPQ Operations, new hire onboarding, tool trainings, process guidance, etc.
·  Perform data analysis, de-duplication, and cleanup as needed to ensure solid SFDC data quality,
·  Create and manage new ad-hoc processes which HPE Aruba will need to engage with as a follow on from the SOM,
·  Ownership of HPE Aruba internal sites for Sales; both Arubapedia and online sharepoints which need to be updated frequently and established as key Sales resources in EMEA,
·  Become the SME for all Sales tools, providing troubleshooting and guidance on issues,
·  Become the EMEA representation for tool development and enhancement within the WW forum,

Cross-Functional:

·  Quickly learn who are the key players in each function & build rapport, both internally and external to HPE Aruba,
·  Develop and maintain an understanding of the various business processes; cost and risk drivers, Sales strategy, financial modelling, P&L structure, in order to support analysis and business process improvements,
·  Work cross-functionally with EG Finance to ensure alignment on Pricing Operations and sub-regional pricing set-up, along with assisting with analytical reviews to determine corrective actions if required,
·  Liaise and engage with HPE Aruba Channel Operations to ensure processes work in unison and to assist in implementation of any new requirements as we develop the operations,
·  Become the sales interface into various other functions depending on the request at hand.

Experience and Skills:

·  3-4 years of experience in an Operational role, preferably in a large competitive MNC,
·  Commercially aware and enjoy interacting with cross functional teams across an organization,
·  A strong business mindset is key, with a ‘run to the fire’ attitude; driving an action-oriented culture: you deliver on your promises,
·  Intellectual curiosity, humility, accountability and positive approach,
·  Requires the ability to work independently with substantial latitude for action and decision while maintaining focus on achieving optimal outcomes as part of a collaborative development effort
·  Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel,
