The job family spans across multiple engineering disciplines. Work consists of designing, developing, analyzing, troubleshooting and debugging systems, software and solutions for research and/or research development of product, services, and solutions for company’s portfolio. Requires a broad knowledge and application of engineering disciplines, methodologies and tools

We are looking for Certification Engineer, who would be supporting independent security certifications and accreditation of Aruba products.

Role and Responsibilities:

·  Assist in the execution of FIPS, Common Criteria, DoDIN-APL, and other security certifications across the entire Aruba product line. 
·  Operate as a representative of Aruba with various accredited labs during the evaluation process
·  Assist in the generation of documentations (e.g. FIPS security policies, CC security targets), whether creating/editing directly or working with an external author
·  Provide consulting, information, and advice to developers and QA around how certification works.
·  Attend weekly meetings with accredited labs and engineering/QA to ensure project milestones are on track
·  Document issues identified by accredited labs and provide information to engineering and QA in a manner which allows for interpretation and troubleshooting (test steps, expected result, actual result, evidence)
·  Communicate with management to ensure any findings by the accredited lab are documented and available for distribution to engineering to address
·  Participate in industry groups/conferences such as the Common Criteria User Forum, the ICMC, and Common Criteria Technical Communities.
·  Monitor government standards and communicate to management and engineering when changes are made that may impact a release (e.g. change to a security requirement under Common Criteria)

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

·  BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
·  Background in software engineering including C/C++.  Ability to read and understand source code in C is a must.
·  Previous hands-on experience with Common Criteria certifications and FIPS validations is required
·  Minimum 2 years of experience working with cryptographic modules in a technical capacity
·  Minimum 3 years of experience with certification schemes, including FIPS and Common Criteria
·  Minimum 4 years of experience in a position handling government certifications or security testing
