Hewlett Packard Enterprise  is currently seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Report Developer Intern to work in the Houston, Texas office.  This individual will  design, develop and maintain business intelligence solutions that turn data into knowledge.  Ultimately, you will enhance our business intelligence system to help us make better decisions.

Job responsibilities include:

·  Translate business needs to technical specifications
·  Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
·  Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
·  Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)
·  Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
·  Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
·  Develop and update technical documentation
·  Work collaboratively with client and team members

Education and Experience:

·  Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters Degree with a major in Information Systems, Computer Science or relevant field
·  Background in data and business analysis in order to craft and execute queries upon request for data and present information through reports and visualizations
·  Experience working with Business Intelligence tools, specifically Qlik Sense, Qlikview and/or SSRS
·  Experience writing queries with T-SQL and SQL Server SQL Server 2012 preferred
·  Experience with R and MapR a plus
·  Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
·  Possess good analysis and design skills, critical thinking, and analytical problem solving abilities
·  Knowledge in designing and delivering business intelligence solutions
·  Ability to juggle multiple projects with competing priorities in an extremely fast-paced environment
·  Clear, concise verbal and written communications skills
·  Detail oriented and thorough
