The Hybrid Cloud Platform practice engages in activities across a number of industry sectors and works in close collaboration with other practices.

Projects typically include designing and implementing hybrid cloud environments for clients primarily utilising Microsoft Azure, application migrations to the cloud and hybrid identity.

The purpose of the Consultant role is to work with Senior Consultants and the Practice Lead to assist with the design and implementation of cloud/hybrid cloud solutions for our clients.

Required skills include:

·  In-depth experience with Azure or a similar cloud platform
·  Specific technical knowledge of:
·  DevOps tools and methodologies (Azure DevOps, Terraform, PowerShell, JSON or similar)
·  Software defined networking
·  Cloud storage solutions
·  Active Directory
·  Excellent problem-solving skills
·  Familiarity with cloud automation and PowerShell and/or C#
·  Experience in writing design documentation
·  Ability to work independently or part of a team
·  Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field (or the equivalent work experience)

Desirable skills:

·  Understand and experience of Linux operating systems
·  Experience / understanding of Azure Stack

Experience:

·  At least 2+ years working with cloud technologies AND at least 5+ years experience in an engineering / operations role in a large Windows network environment (AD, DNS, DHCP, Windows servers, storage platforms, etc.)

OR:

·  3+ years consulting experience working in large Windows network environments
·  Experience working within the financial sector
