HPE PointNext AI and Delivery team are searching for an expert in data analytics and modelling. The position will have a national remit, consulting with numerous clients, within a diverse vertical, on a range of complex data solutions.

This resource will also become a key member of the AI & Data practice who we will also utilize in pre-sales & delivery, as we scale-up the practice & our business in this area. This will generate an on-going stream of primarily billable & also pursuit-funded utilization.

This is a Delivery role with some Business Development responsibilities that will be predicated to building trusted relationships with clients based on achieving high value business outcomes enabled by industry-leading AI & Data technology. Working from a delivery perspective, we are looking for experienced data and development expert who can quickly slot into existing projects and enhance the customer outcomes whilst be adaptable to positioning data oriented solutions with new clients projects.

Leveraging HPE’s AI & Data ecosystem solutions and Core to edge capabilities Delivering billable work.

Supporting pre sale activites and supporting customer workshops during Business discovery. Supporting and enabling the development on HPE’s ecosystem of AI & Data solutions & people.

We believe that data is a way of thinking as much as about technology, with that in mind we are looking for the following type of characteristics and a selection of skillsets
• Experience delivering software integration projects into live environments
• Experience of several programming languages (Python and scripting languages) and the ability to pick up new languages easily
• Understanding of relational and non-relational databases
• Integration with REST Web Services
• Understanding of orchestrations tools
• Knowledge of data science platforms such as DataIku, H2O, RapidMiner
• Experience of the wider data ecosystem (NiFi, Kafka, HDFS etc)
• Understanding of security principles
• Understanding of Agile principles
• Ideally some experience of leveraging software engineering best practices such as unit testing
• Experience of deploying or integrating with common data platforms (Hadoop ecosystem, RDBMS, NoSQL etc)
• Understanding of modern software design principles such as microservices, cloud native etc.
• Experience of managing stakeholders at different seniority, internally and within the customer
• Ability to work as part of a team either remotely or on cus
