We are currently looking for an Accounting expert .

The position will be responsible for the end-to-end accounting process for the Holding Companies Accounting Group in our Enterprise Services business. This person will provide complex and occasionally highly complex financial analysis for a financial function or a business, typically exercising a strong understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives. They will also take part in forecasting financial results within a broad scope, leading business initiatives, typically leading analysts across multiple sub-functions within finance and identifying opportunities for process improvement and policy development.

Main responsibilities:

· Responsible for the end-to-end accounting and financial reporting processes of several holding and finance entities
· Ensure integrity of the accounting books and records in accordance with US and Local GAAP and Company accounting policies, and ensure a strong system of internal controls over the accuracy of financial reporting
· Preparation of accounting entries with respect to intercompany financing, dividends and capitalizations
· Liaising with Shared Service Centers with respect to the accounting of before mentioned intercompany financing
· Act as a point of contact for the Treasury, International Tax and Legal department
· Initiating projects aiming at cost savings, process optimization and implementation of new tools.

Desired profile

Qualifications:

·  First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
·  Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably experience with Big-4; typically experienced in more than one financial function
·  Affinity with automation, strong knowledge of Excel and SAP/R3 (pre)
·  Self-starter, accurate and result oriented
·  Excellent analytical skills and good project management skills
·  Excellent communication skills
·  Fluent in English and Dutch (verbally & written)
