The Preventive Maintenance Specialist utilizes knowledge and skills associates with Preventative Maintenance program to ensure all equipment preventative maintenance schedules are adhered to on time for the purpose of ensuring plant equipment and facilities functions operationally efficient and maintains constant production mode to meet operational goals including Safety, Quality, Production, Cost and Delivery.

What we offer

· Performs preventative maintenance repairs on equipment and machinery within specified time frames as outlined by the Preventative Maintenance program.
· Repairs and troubleshoots various types of pumps, conveying systems and other various types of machinery (process and high speed packaging equipment).
· Ensures all safety regulations, established by the company, as well as state and federal agencies, are adhered to and to ensure all safeguards of equipment are installed to conform with such regulations and perform other related duties as assigned by management.
· Identifies repetitive failures and develop solutions to correct and prevent future failures.
· Works as a team member to provide necessary support throughout the work shift as needed.
· Collaborates with others within and outside of the functional area to perform maintenance and resolve upset conditions. When performing removal, assembly or disassembly, ensures proper cleaning and sanitization is completed on parts / components that may come in contact with product or raw materials.
· Provides technical assistance to others.
· Review equipment manuals and other resources to become proficient and maintain knowledge of operational equipment and perform maintenance. (Reviewing equipment manuals is a must).
· Ensure safeguards of plant equipment are installed as required to conform to all regulations, company, state and federal.

Qualifications :

Who we are looking for

·  Associates degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field OR 3 yrs equivalent work experience
·  Basic working knowledge of various types of pumps, conveying systems and other various types of machinery (process and high speed packaging equipment).
·  Strong troubleshooting skills is required.
·  Working knowledge of performing basic mechanical functions including, but not limited to, preventative maintenance, setup, cleaning, storage, and protection of equipment components or change parts, lubrication, operation of simple and semi-simple machines and single reduction gear boxes
·  Forklift experience preferred; must be willing to obtain Forklift Operator Certification
·  Must successfully complete Mechanical Maintenance Skills Assessment.
