The organizational unit Purchasing is responsible for the purchase of goods and/or services to accomplish the goals of Henkel. As our supplier base is one of our most important resources, we need to ensure, that our demands are met by purchasing according to our Sustainable Sourcing Policy. We offer an internship for a period of 3 - 6 months to highly motivated and talented student to work on Responsible Sourcing projects within our Corporate Purchasing Department.

What we offer

· Become a part of our Global Purchasing Sustainability team with interfaces to business units, supply chain and suppliers as well as external partners
· Analyse sustainability risks in our Henkel value chain, i.e. market analysis of tools for risk assessment, cross material group analysis of potential risk factors and conception of a risk-/decision-matrix
· Work on sustainability assessments for small spend suppliers
· Manage projects in the area of new technologies to drive efficiency improvements and to connect sustainability data in real-time to our IT systems
· Support further development and implementing of our responsible sourcing program

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Who we are looking for

·  Master or Bachelor student, preferable with focus on purchasing, supply chain management, business administration, business IT management or economics
·  Practical or international experience, e.g. by former internships or semester abroad
·  Fluency in English, other language is an advantage
·  Firm knowledge in MS-Office applications, especially Excel and Power Point
·  Flexible, open-minded and pro-active team player with analytical thinking and global mindset
·  Passion to drive sustainability topics
